WPLocation Pro 1.0.0 targets standard WooCommerce products and product categories. It requires active Free 1.1.0 or newer, WooCommerce and a healthy local country source. A passing country check in the editor is the first test, not the last one: the catalog, direct URL, cart and checkout can involve different requests and caches.
Before you test
- Confirm Free and Pro are active and WooCommerce is active.
- In WPLocation → Diagnostics, verify the GeoLite2 Country source and test an address.
- In WPLocation → Pro, save the product or category audience and check an allowed and denied country.
- Purge host, plugin and CDN caches.
Run the visitor flow
| Step | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Catalog or search | Restricted products are filtered for a denied country. |
| Direct product URL | The item is not available to a denied country. |
| Add to cart and existing cart | A denied item cannot remain purchasable after country or rule changes. |
| Classic and Store API checkout | Detected country and applicable shipping or billing country are checked. |
| Unknown country | Restricted products are unavailable; unrestricted items remain available. |
When a result is unexpected
Check every product category and ancestor; each applicable rule must allow the visitor. A product rule cannot override a denied category. Variations inherit the parent product. Check whether a cached catalog page or a custom product feed bypasses WordPress. Custom gateways, third-party APIs and multilingual storefronts require separate compatibility testing.
For setup and license activation see Pro installation. For page-cache behavior see cache safety. Country targeting cannot establish legal residence or replace regulated-sales controls.
