WPLocation Free does not include WooCommerce product or product-category rules. Those controls are implemented in the separate WPLocation Pro. Pro is available with monthly, yearly and lifetime license options.
Keep Free and Pro active
Pro uses the compatible Free plugin for location detection and source configuration. Install Free 1.1.0 before Pro. Pro requires Free 1.1.0 or newer, WordPress 6.8 or newer, PHP 8.3 or newer and WooCommerce.
Create a product audience
- Open WPLocation → Pro.
- Find a product or product category.
- Choose Everyone, Only selected countries, or Everywhere except selected countries.
- Search and select countries, then save the audience.
- Test the saved country result and the actual visitor flow.
Product, category and ancestor-category rules all need to allow the visitor. Variations inherit their parent product. Unknown countries cannot access restricted products.
What Pro checks
Pro covers standard catalog queries, direct product pages, Store API reads, add-to-cart, cart validation and checkout. Checkout considers both the detected country and the applicable shipping or billing country. Custom feeds, gateways, caching layers and other integrations need their own compatibility checks. Country targeting is not proof of legal residence or a substitute for regulated-sales controls.
Licensing and next steps
Pro and Agency use the same binary, with one-site and five-site license options. See the current plans for billing choices and lifetime software coverage. Installed rules continue working when a license expires. Groups, schedules, bulk tools and specialist add-ons are future work.
